News From Kiwanis of Historic St. Augustine

The Kiwanis Club of Historic St. Augustine is having their annual All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, October 21st, 8am-10:30am, at The Allegro, 1101 Plantation Island Drive South (near 312 bridge).  The cost is $5 for all of the pancakes, sausage and beverage you can eat/drink.  A full breakfast with eggs, bacon, danish, and more, is available for an upcharge. Tickets may be purchased at the door.

Kiwanis is a worldwide volunteer service organization with a priority on children needs.  Local clubs look out for our communities while the international organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty.

The Kiwanis Club of Historic St. Augustine has provided manpower and funding to assist with providing youth leadership programs, eliminating maternal/neonatal tetnus, youth character building, scholarships for needy youth, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for needy families, special needs camp, to name a few.  When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed, and thrive, great things can happen.

All proceeds from the breakfast go into the Historic St. Augustine Kiwanis Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, which is used for their outreach programs.  A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services  on line or by calling toll-free within the State. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State.

Limited space is available for businesses to advertise on the placemat by calling (904) 669-4253. Deadline for ad submission is October 14th.
